Northern Light Recreation has leagues for all skill levels and ages at various times depending on the league that you join.
You have questions. We have answers.
Q: What if I don’t have a team?
A: First you need to decide which league and evening best suites your needs. Stop in here at Northern Lights or give us a call at 231-347-3100 and we will help you get into the perfect league.
Q: What if there are days that I can not bowl with my team?
A: Bowling in a league is very flexible. You can have a substitute bowler if you cannot make it, or you can choose to use an absentee score.
Q: How much is bowling in a league?
A: The fees vary by league, but average around $13.00 per bowler per week for the leagues listed below. This includes prize funds and some banquet fees. Sanction fees are a one-time fee of approximately $20.00 per bowler. Being sanctioned qualifies you for local, state, and national awards. It also enables you to bowl in state and national tournaments.
Q: I don’t know if I’m good enough to bowl on a team.
A: All leagues are handicapped. This allows for fair competition between inexperienced bowlers and the most seasoned bowlers.

Double Trouble League:
Non sanction fun league 4 man teams any combination Handicap: 80% men and 90% women. Prize fund built into weekly fees. Sundays at 6:30pm 12 week league June 5th through August 21st
TUESDAY FUN LEAGUE:
Non sanctioned fun league (4) person teams, any combnination handicap 90% of 200. Prixe fund built in to $12.00 weekly fees Starts at 6:30pm 12 weeks. June 7th through August 23rd.
NINE-PIN PALOOZA:
Non sanctioned FUN League 9 pin Constiturs a strike.
